Setting the base
- After spreading the tile adhesive, insert the base-clips underneath the tile edges on all 4 sides.
- For large format tiles use one base-clip for every 60 cm
- Lay the adjacent tile in place and gently hit it with a rubber mallet.
Inserting the wedges
- Slide the wedges into the clips and tighten without exceeding the break-off point.
- To make this task easier, we would recommend using the Mustang Tool.
Removing the clips
Once the adhesive has set, to remove the clips and wedges simply hit with either a rubber mallet or kick with your foot in the direction of the joint.
